Platforms
rroller should run on any modern Linux distro. It’s been tested on Fedora Core 6, Fedora 7 and Ubuntu Feisty. It may work on non-Linux Unixes, but I’ve never tried this out.
Prerequisites
You’ll need Qt, OpenGL and a few other things that are totally bog standard. See the INSTALL file for more info.
You will also need to install libnmitt, a C++ numerics library. This library was originally created by Nicholas Schmitt at the Center for Geometry, Numerics, Analysis and Graphics at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, but no longer seems to be maintained. So I’ve packaged it up myself.
Source tarballs
libnmitt-0.1.0.tar.gz
rroller-0.1.0.tar.gz
Binary packages
I’ve built some Fedora 7 RPMs, but if that’s not your distro, it’s very easy to create a RPM or .deb package directly from the source tarballs. See the INSTALL file for instructions on how to do this.
